My car was serviced with Merc Benz East Rand Mall on the 29/4/13. On the morning of the 30/4 when I started my car a warning light came on "Top Up Washer Fluid". How the can they not check a simple thing like windscreen wiper fluid? My question is thus did they actually do the service? Did they actually check if the car even has water in it? I phoned numerous times during the day trying to speak to the DP or aftersales manager - no one was available to take my call and neither replied to my messages left. On the 10th of May when I started my car again it blew out pitch black smoke from the exhaust actually leaving a huge stain on my paving! So my assumption of my car not being checked out properly was confirmed by this. I phoned Mercedes SA and spoke to David, he asked me very arrogantly how I want this resolved - I told him that I want another dealer to look at my car and do a report. He very arrogantly asked me "and who is going to pay for this" - when I still have a maintenance plan which I paid for!!! I lost my faith and trust in the brand and working for a dealership - I will not recommend Merc to anyone EVER!
