I am LIVID!!!

I bought a car from Barloworld last year in end July. At the time, nothing was disclosed to me about the car having an engine problem, faulty depollution system and tyre pressure not being monitored.

Since then I have been having endless problems with the car as well as the dealership.

Upon me picking up the car, after having signed the contract, I noticed all these three problems. I brought them to the attention of my sales consultant who assured me that these would be fixed. He also to me and said that the only reason the engine light is on because of the other problems the car had. To date, these have not been fixed. I brought the car in at the dealership numerous times, but the problems were never fixed. The sales consultant told me that these problems could not be fixed.

The warranty will not fix these problems, the sales consultant made numerous misrepresentations to me concerning the condition of the car, even when I had enquired about it, and basically my car is dying and Peugeot wants about R20000, which the warranty wont cover.

Had I known the car was dying, I would have never bought it.

What are my options?
