On 1/3/2013 I took my car in for repaired (engin cuts out) and paid a deposit of R5 000.After a month and a half of numerous telephonic follow ups with NO joy we gave him an ultimatum to finish the car and have it ready on Wednesday 17/4/2013.They confirmed we can collect the car on Thursday 18/4/2013 between 9-11.When I arrived at 12 there wasn't even a battery in the car, car was very dirty, 2 deep scratch marks on the driver side, wipers were bent and the car was not finished. I didn't want to wait around and asked Trevor to give me a date and time when I can get my car. He said Friday at 2.When I phone at 10 he was busy (again) and said he will call me back in 10 mins. An hour an a half later i phoned again and he answered the phone "ARE YOU GOING TO PHONE ME THE WHOLE DAY". I said I wanted to find out what was going on. He said he's going to replace the old parts and i must come and get my car as he is not working on it anymore. The car doesn't start at all now (it did when i took it in) and on my way home i noticed my windscreen is cracked. He refuses to refund my deposit and replace the windscreen. Said I can take him to court. New mechanic showed me wires were cut and parts burnt out!!
