Robbed by waitor Disrespected by manage

I went to spur last night (the 29th april 2013) friends. It was time to pay the bill, I signed the slip and indicated how much tip I was giving the waitor (R26). I even clearly indicated the total amount I owed (R286). I placed some cash in the bill and handed my card over to the waitor to pay the difference owed by me (R100). The waitor glady took my card and swiped it. We still stayed behind a while after we had paid the bill. Then I received an sms from fnb Stating that I had swiped for R286. That angered me as I had already given the waitor 186 rand cash as well as a tip, but he still swiped my card for the full price of the meal we had. Meaning that he purposely took 186 rand from me. I got upset and confronted the waitron. Whilst I was confronting him, the manager (francois) was hearing all of this but kept quiet. He did not care that he had an unhappy customer in his restaurant. The waiter removed the money from his wallet and handed it back to me, I then went to the manager. Whilst I was complaining to the manager that he did nothing he said ' well did the waitor give you your money back' I said yes and he seemed like he expected me to be ok with that.
