After a full week - only a generic email

After complaining about delivery staff last week. I have only received an email saying that somebody would contact me after looking into the matter and guess what no one has. Surely a Company should at least contact a person even if it is just to tell them "to get lost". What has happened to the good ole days of offering outstanding service?
