Manager steals my cellphone

Went to have lunch at Nandos, when i was done and l got up to leave, the manager came up to clear my table, and cleared my cellphone as well. When i noted that i didnt have my cell on me, which was less than 20seconds from when i left the restaurant, the manager who cleared my table was no where to be found and neither was my cellphone!!! if managers conduct them selves in such a manner i can only imagine what the staff get up to!!!
