After a long day at the office, I knew Nandos would make it all better. Stuck in traffic, I reached Nandos Fora Centre after 45 mins, which usually takes 12mins. I'm starving. I place my order at the drive through and pay with my discovery credit card (Vitality member). The machine is offline, again, so I have to go inside to pay. Inside the machines are also not working, by now my delicious nandos chicken wrapps are ready, but the card machines not. The Manager who apologised at the drive through arrives at the front with the 2 technicians who explained the error, the reboot, etc, but none of them can indicate how long it will take. I could't believe that a Nandos Manager instructs a technician to deal with clients. This Manager then pulled up his shoulders and said: "Sorry, there's nothing I can do for you". Sending me home with no Nandos after 45mins stuck in traffic, travelling past my home was unbelievable. One of the staff tried to make an arrangement so that I could pay later when I returned (I visit that Nandos often). I was amazed that a staff member had better management skills than the Manager himself. This was the worst Management ever experienced.
