Uncooked food, hair in food, terrible management

I would not recommend anyone dining at John Dorys in liberty mall Pietermaritzburg for the following reasons

- First occasion we discovered hair in our plate of food as soon as it was presented to us. This put our appetite of and cancelled lunch plans all together because of a lack of quality control by the kitchen staff.

- Second occasion, upon ordering a serving of chicken livers, it had arrived having a nasty smell and after tasting it, it was discovered that the livers were not cooked hence the smell and the meat had a pinkish coloring indicating that something was not right. Upon complaining the manager came and apologized. Thereafter the 'senior' manager arrived to query the problem that he was aware of. He mentioned that he took two big bites full and there wasn't anything wrong with it... he said that we should've indicated that we want it well cooked as if we're to blame for the issue

There appears to be no quality control standards at this restaurant and management passing the buck back onto the customer when they fail to deliver to standards. This is not acceptable and I will not recommend anyone dining there.
