Horrible food! Bad attitude of owner! Grubby ambienc

My boyfriend and I went for dinner at Grata this past Saturday but the entire experience was horribly appalling!!! The food was disgusting - I ordered a steak and asked to have it well done, however I got a burnt rock-solid piece of dry meat that had no succulence at all. My boyfriend ordered a fish dish but the fish had an odd taste and texture, it tasted as if it was over cooked in water with the wrong marinade. His fish was served with some potatoes and peppers that looked like they had stayed in storage beyond their sell-by date.

When we complained to the owner, he had no mannerisms nor minimal customer service standards that you'd expect from a 'professional' at his level. He vehemently (and with a bad attitude) argued with us saying that's how the dishes are served, even if we tried other restaurants. Can you believe we were offered coffee to make up for the bad food? Despicable!!

We didn't think the dishes were worth paying for, but at his insistence we paid - but at the same time we just wanted to leave the place. It wasn't just the food and service that was bad, there was also a party on the upper floor and the noise from there 'killed the mood'.STAY AWAY, NO VALUE FOR MONEY!
