Terrible food posisoning case and passing the buck

Hi Peter,

We had an unfortunate experience when I went out for dinner at the Meat Company. My partner and I contracted a serious food poisoning, which saw two of us flat for four days. His condition was worse as he ended up having to take an antibiotic for it. I wrote to them about the issue on thursday the 4th, informing them of this and asked them to attend to the matter but no one seemed to bother responding. I emailed them again earlier today asking why hasn't anyone bothered attending to the matter. Few minutes after that I got an email saying that they have forwarded the case to their head office, whom will be contacting us regarding the issue. What really irritates me is that; 1. No one cared when I sent them the email the first time, only when I decided to find out five days later after the initial email, they then decide to respond; why are they only responding now five days later? ; 2. Why is it the head offices business to attend to the matter? Who cooked the food? Who runs their restuarant? As a result of this, we lost 3 days of work. What makes it worse is that he doesn't get paid for not reporting to work, eventually he lost his income; & incurred medical expenses.
