Snoekies Fish & Chips
Worst fish shop ever!

We recently visited the above fish shop expecting good quality fish, calamari and chips. Snoekies is by no means the cheapest fish shop around but I dont compromise when it comes to quality and I am prepared to pay extra for a good product. What I received was an absolute joke! The chips were like eating cardboard, no flavour at all, probably a couple of days old. The grilled calamari was like pieces of rubber and cold. The fried hake was anything but fresh, was probably caught a week ago, tasted like nothing and was also rubbery and not crispy as it should be when its fried.

One would expect a fish shop such as Snoekies to deliver a quality product of the highest standards considering the good name of the company and also the higher price. Instead I received cold old flavourless rubber for dinner. Only ate half of what I purchased, threw the rest in the rubbish bin where it belongs. Wouldnt feed that to my dog.

Disgusting.
