Disappointing St Paddy's Day

St Paddy's Day. I am Irish and I love potatoes. Every restaurant in SA serves tasteless frozen chips covered with bright chip spice. I specifically said "no chip spice, PLEASE". So did everyone else. We waited nearly 3 hours for the food and it arrived with orange chip spice. The waitress said "people like chip spice". Was that her reason for not advising the chef? 10 people: 8 ordered chips with NO chip spice, 2 ordered the dreadful green mush you served as champ. An Irish restaurant that can't serve edible potatoes?

I suggest you buy REAL potatoes, learn how to make champ, put a shaker of the dreadful orange chip spice on the table for the few who want it and teach your waitrons to LISTEN to the customer rather than telling us what we want.

Perhaps if the chefs saw the food that was NOT eaten, they would be able to tell you what the customers do not like. Brazen Head, supposedly an Irish restaurant, yet 10 out of 10 people at our table could not eat your potatoes.
Very disappointing lunch. The Brazen Head is not Irish and 3 times slower than any other fast food chain in SA.
