Terrible Food and Agressive Owne

I took my parents to Juniper's in Bryanston on a Friday afternoon, which was a terrible decision in hindsight. The food definitely fell far short of the price, firstly. The spicy salmon maki roll had more spice than salmon and the R65 toasted cheese and tomato, after 15 mins, came with soggy bread and un-melted cheese. Upon telling the waiter, nothing happened and I asked for the bill. The returned sushi remained on our bill yet only one piece was eaten. When I told the owner he told me that we shouldn't order spicy salmon if we can't handle spice and said he doesn't eat it because its too spicy for him. As the conversation progressed, the owner got more and more aggressive when I told him about the poor food in general and the indifferent service experienced. When I asked for an apology he told me the refund was an apology and that if I didn't like it I shouldn't come back! Overpriced, undercooked food, poor service and an owner with a chip on his shoulder. Best avoid this one at all costs!!!
