Expired Zinger Flavour Packet

I have ordered the zinger pops twice now. Both times it was through the drive through.
The first time, about 3 weeks ago, I didn't receive the flavour packet.
On wednesday, I did receive one, but when i checked it i saw the expiry date was early 2012.
I showed the expired ZINGER packet to the lady and she disappeared for a bit,
When she returned, I was handed my food and I drove off. Only when I opened the bag did I see I was given chutney.

It seems the fast food industry don't care about the customer anymore.
Back in the day when I was in that position it would have been customary to tell the customer.

"Sorry sir, were out of -this or that- at the moment, but we do have -something or other- still available.
Would you prefer that? "

At the very least a apology would have been in order for a packet of flavour that expired so long ago.
But no, just keep quiet, the sucker will be far away by the time he opens that bag.

This will be the last time i use the drive-though.
What happened to customer service in our country? It used to be excellent, now we have to fight for it and not get it even then.

I will keep a much sharper eye out for anything I buy at your premises.
