Shocking attitude from an owner of a restaurant

I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for a number of years taking family and friends on many occassions, spending hard earned money. Despite the owner's lack of customer skills and unfriendliness I have continued to eat there, plus his waitresses are not the most friendliest either and they never come back to tables - they have to be called for extra drinks or the bill. What has kept me going back is the venue and the quality of food, which is excellent. Today was the final straw - the owner barked at me when I was at the till that I am chasing customers away. I had no idea what he was talking about. He then explained that some people some time ago had complained that I was "chain smoking" and that they would not go back - baring in mind I was in the smoking area in an open air garden!! It was a shock that the owner could talk down to a customer in that manner. I did not react, but I am fuming. Durban is renowned for bad service at most establishments, but this guy tops the list as rude and arrogant owners, that explains why his waitresses are so sullen as well. They all act as if they are doing people a favor!! The customer pays his bills in case he doesnt know that
