Worm found in pizza

My colleague and I ordered a delivery of pizzas from pizza perfect today. While taking out a slice, I found a worm crawling around in the box.
When we called the branch to report this and also to request our money back, the manager insisted that it is impossible that the worm came from the pizza, because they cook it in an oven. Well, if it wasn't we would have received raw pizza wouldnt we? I mean there is a possibility that the worm came from the box? which is stored before use?
The manager then arrives at our office, does not even start off with an apology but rather goes on about the oven story, and that it goes straight from the oven, to the box, then delivered, so how can it be from them. Well unfortunately the box doesnt go into the oven does it? He spent more efforts trying to make it seem as if I was making it up or as if I put the worm there on purpose? I mean really, I ordered a take away, of which the box was still full as I stopped eating when i found the worm.
