Rump STEAK OFF/SOUR

Visited this SPUR at 20:45 on Wednesday night. Ordered a Rump Steak on a hot plate. As it was "ccoking" in front of me, smelt something very strange. Had 2 bites, offered my husband a bite and then we both agreed that something was terribly wrong. Meat was off and sour in taste. Called waiter, sent it back, Manageress apologised. Then ordered a burger in it's place. Terribly under-sized, smothered in basting sauce and the the veggies tasted old/standing all day in a cooker -taste. I somehow feel that I should have had my meal on the house or given a voucher for another visit. Quality is really a problem at this Spur and needs to be investigated. Waiters were all very keen to pack up for the evening as we were hurried through out our meal. Please Spur HEAD-OFFICE ..you need to investigate!
