No refund given for food that had gone bad

On 21/01/2014 I purchased 2 toasted chicken and mayonnaise sandwiches from the Wimpy at Value Centre. When i got back to my office to eat the sandwich I found that it had a sour taste. My colleague who was eating the other sandwich said that hers didnt taste right either. I called the store to tell them and they asked me to come back to the store to get another sandwich. I explained that i was already back at my office and would come in after work inset The lady i spoke to said i should speak to lindiwe when i arrived.by the time i got there that afternoon, they were closed, so I went the next afternoon instead. Lindiwe refused to give me my money back, nor did she offer to replace the sandwiches. Our office is close by the Wimpy so my colleagues and I often purchase lunch from the store, which Lindiwe agreed with because she recognised me, and we have had these toasted sandwiches on numerous occasions and can say without question that the filling had gone bad. i am very dissapointed that as a regular customer who has never complained or returned food before, my complaint was not taken seriously. Neither I nor anyone else in our office will be returning to that Wimpy again
