Kids eat free being advertised but promotion not h

We were at the Omaha Spur on Wednesday after seeing a promotional poster next to the road stating kids eat free wednesdays. We asked about it and the waiter confirmed this to only return with the manager when brining our drinks saying this promotion has ended. I just think it is a to draw people in by means of false advertising. The other promotions that is also on the poster is still valid why not this one. Because we are on holiday in theyr town we now have to pay. This is not right.
