Myself and my husband had our usual Saturday morning breakfast time at Wimpy. It was quite festive in town as it was Cape Town Carnival Day. We saw a minstrel from the carnival and proceeded to take a photo whilst sitting at Wimpy and then gave this minstrel some money as a sign of goodwill. Only to be screamed at by the owner of this Wimpy branch. His exact words... "nou jy rerig my ", the right answer would be "no"! How about talking calmly to a paying customer as you do earn you living from customer's... how about being friendly as you work in the service industry... I think an apology is in order...
