Beefcakes
And out of control

I arrived at Beefcakes in Cape Town South Africa last night with my two best friends to have supper and drinks. We have never really been there before so decided to give it a try. On arrival nobody helped us to our seats, one of my friends had to walk up to, someone whom i think is a manager, to ask if we could sit down. There were waiters walking up and down and past all the time, but not ONE of them asked if we had been helped or needed assistance. Besides the fact that we were of color and so in the minority group of clientele, only the white people were helped and if you were good looking your service was even faster. We waited for 20min just to get asked if we needed a menu which in the end we didn't get, so we got up and left. I have never felt such in my life and what makes it worst is that it is a Gay restaurant, in one of the gay capitals of the world and its more than a decade after apartheid.
