Worst Christmas Lunch Ever!

Went to Seekoskombuis for Xmas lunch. It was the worst experience I could have imagined. Started out not having my reservation. Then the food service started an hour late - only to discover there is not enough for everyone. Everyone was annoyed but in the spirit of Xmas we stayed. Served on foamolite plates and having to wash our own cutlery the mains were served. Queuing again in true "koshuis" / "boarding school" fashion we were served undercooked chicken, burnt sweet potato and shrimps which have not been cleaned. Some people chucked their plates in the bin and left. Desert was never served and when the bill came we were charged for drinks we didn't order. It was a shambles. Drunk manager. Staff swearing and threatening to resign and just plain rude. Seekoskombuis is a disgrace and give the West Coast a terrible name. Never will I set my foot there again. No attempt was made to apologise or discount the terrible lunch. Instead I had to pay R525 for me and my 73 year old mom... food a dog would not eat.
