Burger Perfect
Bubblegum in my Burger!

Yesterday evening, Thursday 31 January my husband and I went to the takeaway section at Silverstar Casino and ordered burgers from Burger Perfect. As I was about to take my first bite, my husband noticed CHEWED BUBBLEGUM lying in the polystyrene container that my burger was served in!
We immediately took the burgers back to the counter, where the gentleman behind the counter displayed total indifference to our shock and anger while the staff responsible for the preparation of the food thought it very funny calling it chappies while laughing merrily.
The counter gentleman reluctantly gave us the owners number after we insisted we would not leave until we had informed her. On phoning the owner, Maureen, this was her shocking reply :- The staff are not allowed to eat bubblegum... She then went into question mode wanting to know if the bubblegum was soft or hard, etc and then finally tried to blame it on the people who supply the polystyrene packaging.
How on earth does an owner of a business so totally miss the point here concerning the seriousness of health issues in her own business? Maybe the Health Department could convince her.
We will NEVER buy food at ANY Burger Perfect again!
