Not Listening Properly

We went to Triggerfish on Saturday, 14th December 2013. We ate and we tasted some of the beer available. Everything was great, until when we had to pay. One of our friends informed the waitress that we are going to split the bill, which was R310.00, between the 4 of us. So each one had to pay R80.00. She would have received R30.00 tip. She then added the R80.00 to the bill, and then she took the entire amount of my friend`s card. When he questioned the transaction, the manager suddenly stepped in, and said that she hear my friend say that she must add the R80.00 to the bill. He never said that, and we were 4 adults confirming what he had said. We were not in a mood to argue so we decided to rather leave. I don't think this situation was handled properly. This really left a bad taste in my mouth.
