November '12 Nandoes booked in their trainee manager into my boarding house. Boarding house NOT a guesthouse! My rooms has 'n monthly rate of R4000 unlike a guesthouse which charges R 400 per day. From day one they did not pay on time as promised via my rules that clearly stated in every room on an A2 sign. My rules also clearly states that a 3week notice had be given before a broader vacate the room. Eventually after a big struggle November rent and deposit was paid, when December came the invoice was ignored, first week in December I was given notice for the 6 Jan 2013 but still no payment. In this invoice the R4000 rent - the R2500 deposit came to R1500. The 17th of December the boarder suddenly decided that he is leaving "sorry doesn't work like that! " not as per my rules, how am I supposed to fill the room at that time of the year? At that stage I was still under the impression I was gonna be paid, they even came back to be in Jan2013 for accommodation where I helped them with other accommodation since I already had a new boarder on his way. I now find out the other accommodation also was not paid, is this the way the Horn's in Malelane do business? The Lowvelder will hear of
