Waiter rang up a massive tip hoping we wouldnt see

We took the extended family to lunch last Saturday - lovely food and kids had fun but when it came to paying my husband calculated the tip and total and handed over his card and the slip to the waiter. Somehow the waiter 'made a mistake' in entering the numbers and had my husband not checked the card slip - the waiter would have got away with a 25% tip on an already expensive meal!

Please check your restaurant slips before you sign! I got the impression this was not the first time he had made such a mistake.
