I pre-ordered and paid for 45 streetwise twos, a total of R1120.50. I was supposed to pick up the order at 9:30 the following morning to feed grade 1 learners for their end of year class party. After 8 that night, Lorran phoned me to say they had no chips, but that their chips would be delivered by 11 the following day. I told her that 11 was late for the children to eat, so we agreed on 10:30 for collection. When I arrived at Harding, KFC at 10:30, I was told that there were no chips, and could they give me the order without chips. I refused, saying that they needed to substitute with a roll or salad, or refund some of the money. The lady who helped me in Lorrans absence offered me mash and gravy after trying to negotiate for about 15 minutes. I then had to wait for another 45 minutes while they packed my pre-ordered order! I got back to feed 45 hungry learners almost an hour later! Very disappointed at the poor service! KFC didn't even offer a suggestion of compensation! I feel like because this branch is out in a rural area, they think that they can treat their customers anyhow.
