OWNER IS A BADLY MANNERED PERSON

My wife and her parents went to Chinwag Coffee Shop for lunch on Wednesday 20 November. The owner of the establishment asked them to sit outside, which they were happy to do. My wife moved a table away from the shop window because their party consisted of 4 people. At this point the owner came out and told them in no uncertain terms that they could not do that. The people at the next table then offered to move one table down to allow them to put two tables together, but once again the owner refused this, insisting that they huddle up around a table meant for 2 people. She then came out and slapped the menus on the table. It was quite clear that they were not welcome, especially after the owner ignored them until they left.
This comes after a long line of incidents where the owner of the coffee shop has mistreated my wife and her guests, despite the fact the she (for some odd reason) visited this coffee shop on a regular basis. My wife will never return, but hopefully this reports helps to inform people of a person who is in the hospitality industry who does not know the first thing about hospitality. Her food, whether mediocre of good, will only go so far.
