John Dory's Fish
BAD SERVICE

I normally go to John Dory's on Tuesdays because of their special. They do take long to bring the food and I just shrug it off as them being busy because of the special.

Yesterday I got there at 17:42 and asked if I should buy the special on take-away and the hostess said yes, but while I was talking to h my husband sent me a message and said he would like to sit and eat in. So I told the lady I would not buy take away anymore and she showed me to a table.

I sat there waiting for a table until 17:59 when my husband sent me a message to say he was almost at the Pavilion and I told him that I was already sitting and waiting to order. I carried on sitting and then at 18:06 I told him that I was no longer willing to wait for someone to serve me, we should rather go and eat elsewhere. I got up and told the hostess at the door that her waiters were standing and chatting at the till but no one came to take my order. All she asked was whether I wanted to order take away? -_____- SERIOUSLY??!!! After waiting for almost 25 mins was that ALL she could ask me? If I waited THAT long to be served I wonder how long I'd have waited for the food to arrive?
