Mugg And Bean
Poor quality food, terrible service

The Mugg & Bean at the Cape Town airport is one of the worst restaurants I've been to: We had to wait over 20 minutes for service each time (considering that it is in an airport and the patrons have to catch a plane makes it even more unacceptable than at a regular restaurant); they did not have an ingredient in my order and took 15 minutes to figure this out, have the sloppy manager tell me, and let me order something else instead; the nachos were a bunch of stale chips lightly covered in gummy cheese with a sparse scattering of tasteless mexican items; the potato skins were undercooked and cold; the waitress moody and unaccomodating to my vegan requests (for a place that specifically labels its vegan dishes as such, this is unacceptable), and the other waiters more interested in the football playing on the tv than in their customers. We certainly did not leave a tip and will rather subject ourselves to the iffy in-flight offering than go to this restaurant again.
