Double Standards

How disappointing! After reading many negative reviews I decide to go to La Parada and decide for myself - Called yesterday to make reservations for 25pax for Friday 3pm-5pm.
Today I call and speak to Ashley to confirm the reservation and I'm told that I can not be accommodated because the Spanish consulate has booked the venue for 50 pax from 7pm till late. After trying to reason with Ashley that I will only be there from 3pm-5pm I was told that they do NOT take reservations as a rule! However, the Spanish consulate has one??
Losing 25 paying customers was clearly not an issue for Ashley as she was not phased when i told her that i'll find another venue that will accommodate me.
