OVER PRICED / small portions

Went to Plaka Eastgate for dinner, was our first visit. For a starter I ordered the Veg platter for 1. I got a small oval plate that literally had 1 slice of beetroot on it. 4 tablespoons of dip - 1 dolmades - 1 red pepper strip - 1 falafel - 1 tablespoon of two types of beans. R79.00 for this is a gross overcharge. This is all veg not even any meat. Their main course menu is also quite limited & not varied. I ordered the Beef souvlakia - R89.00 it was literally two std wood skewers of not every flavourful meat and literally 5 cut up roasted potatoes. In total for my measly starter and main, I paid - R168! This would have bought me a 300 gr fancy fillet at a steak restaurant. Setting was beautiful, the welcome, management and waiter were all good but I don't feel that I got good value or quantity at the prices I was charged! My hubby had fish & chips and his piece of fish totally filled the one side of the plate with chips filling the other half. My daughter's queen prawns also had chips filling up rest of the plate. They charge R22 for a Castle light! Frankly I feel ripped off. Paid R500 very unhappily! I know you have big rent to pay @ Eastgate but REALLY!
