The Big Red Barn
Very dissapointed!!

On 9/9/2013 I enquired about a booking at this venue on15/9/2013. Between 10/9 and 14/9 a lot of mails, calls and sms's were exchanged to confirm the booking as well as the food and other details. However, when my husband and I arrived at the barn on Sunday, no one was aware of our booking or food. It was a mad rush for them to try and sort this out. They had to ask people to move from their tables in order to accomadate our group of 17 adults and 5 kids. My husband had to constantly nag the kitchen for all our food and also had to carry everything from the kitchen to our table, with the help of some of our friends / family. I asked Berni whether I should take anything with on the day (as I didn't know their setup). She told me they have everything that we would need but then they ended up supplying us with paper plates!!! We constantly had to go back to the kitchen to ask for basic stuff, like forks and knives! I was the person planning this get together with friends and family and I was embarresed to say the very least. NEVER NEVER WILL THEY SEE US AGAIN!!
