Poor quality food & service

Since Toureiro's opened a year ago, my wife and I used to eat there almost every Friday evening and even lunch sometimes in between. Staff was always very polite, efficient and professional. The quality of food always excellent and the free chicken liver starter outstanding. I referred many people to this restaurant and received poor feedback almost every time about poor service or poor quality of food but when we go there it was always acceptable to us not understanding why the other people had bad experiences. After the latest 2 incidents, I decided to post a report on this site. I referred my son and his wife to Toureiro's for their wedding anniversary on 31/8/2013 but they were very disappointed with the service and the quality of food. Not one manager came around to the table to ask if everything was ok. They complained to the waiter who only apologised. The food was dry, overcooked and with no taste. My son send almost half his plate back and told us that the free chicken livers was the highlight of the meal! We went there again last week and unfortunately have to agree with my son. Our food was awful but received desert as compromise. We might not go back unless they improve
