Gilroys
Insultingly bad service!

We all understand that Gilroys is a popular pub and restaurant but with this understanding comes the establishments responsibility to ensure that they are properly staffed and prepared to handle the demand at the restaurant.

This is not the first time this has happened. Arriving at gilroys on Sunday afternoon, understandable it is busy but it is completely insulting that we were pointed to a seat by the hostess, we waited 15mins before getting fed up because we weren't even served, let alone given a menu. Even after asking a waiter for service we were brushed off. Needless to say but we weren't served and left Gilroys completely done with their poor organization and service.

Gilroys needs to seriously get their act together. They are a popular establishment but the man with the big white beard who is drunk most of the time (aka "the owner") needs to focus more on his customer service and ensuring the patrons are served and looked after as opposed to drinking from the beer tap!

Get your act together! We will probably never go there again and will advise people we know of the problems we have experienced, more than once, at this embarrassing restaurant!
