High expectations unmet

I decided to take my in-laws out to lunch in celebration of Fathers Day. I live in JHB and thought that this would be a great idea seeing that I had not seen them in months. The restaurant operates on a process where one waiter serves one purpose. There was a waiter to take our order, serve us drinks, bring out the food, set the tables, bring around desserts and bring us the bill. Having six waiters you would think you would receive incredible service. To my dissappoint the service was dismal. There was no one to coordinate the process and we had to call the manager several times to find out where our drinks where, where our food was and when could we order dessert. There was no one there to ask us if were were enjoying our food or if we needed anything. I think we spent more time searching for a waiter then actually sitting down and ordering the meal. Needless to say I will never go to Roma again nor will i refer anyone.
