Debonairs Pizza
Late delivery

I ordered a pizza from Debonairs on 02/07/2013, i ordered the pizza at 6:48. After waiting an hour i called them again and they told me that the person responsible for delivering the pizza had left 20 min ago. I got a call from him saying he is outside at 8:22. After speaking to one of the cashiers, I enquired asking why it had taken longer than 40 min, to deliver the pizza as Debonairs has the policy whereby if the delivery is made after 40 min the pizza is free. she just kept telling my how the driver had to make other deliveries as well?
I can understand if a driver is late but hen they should have told me that when i ordered the pizza. If i knew it would take that long i would have collected it myself!
I do not find it fair that you offer a service that you cannot deliver on, and then make a promise that you cannot keep.
