I don't often complain about service, but as I am in the service industry (hotels) I felt that this was warranted.
My husband and I often pop up to Greenstone to have breakfast at the Mugg & Bean - we find it Value for Money - Today however we decided to support our local branch at Karaglen - To say the least it was VERY disappointing. We arrived, and were given the menu's which we didn't really want, as we know what we are going to order before we sit down. We ordered straight away - not a difficult order - just two of us. We had filter coffee, and sat waiting. After 30 minutes, and noticing that people who had arrived after us already had their meal, I called a waiter to ask if he could find out what was happening. A Manager came and said that they were sorry, it was on it's way. After 45 minutes, it was becoming apparent that we had been forgotten, and I then asked the same Manager for the bill for the coffee, as we were not prepared to wait any longer.
Talk about customer service!!! Non existent!!! The bill for the coffee was presented to me, we paid and then left. The owner or Franchisee was in there, and did not even make any attempt to rectify the situation.
