Milky Lane
I guess recession leads to poor service standard

Dear Milky Lane
I went to your branch at Grand West yesterday and bought myself a ice-cream. as this is the normal routine I follow when I go to the Grand West. I always buy something sweet.
I have been buying there since I was in school and the staff was always nice and friendly and even though you paid more for the ice-cream, the product was always worth it.
Yesterday I bought an ice-cream, but I noticed it was definitely not the standard that I am used to. I know the prices go up as time go on, but I never expected the product to become smaller.
I told the cashier on duty (badge/till slip said Joyce) that the product looks much different then to what Milky Lane usually produces. Her reply was what shocked me: "Oh, it is the recession." in the most sarcastic way possible. And then she still have the nerve to laugh at me about it.
This type of reaction is unprofessional. I didn't expect it from a Milky Lane based in Grand West.
You could just have said that it is the way products have changed. No need for sarcasm.
I can understand things are tough for the store, but it is not necessary to be sarcastic about it.
Shocked
