I attended a fundraising function for Cansa and I was rather thrilled when I won a R600 meal voucher for La Campagnola. As I wasn't able to use it I gave it to my Father to use as a nice treat for him and his girlfriend. They had a lovely meal and when the bill arrived handed over the voucher with the payment of the balance, the manager then came to the table and very rudely advised that he had never seen such a voucher and that anyone could print 'this' so he wasn't happy to accept it. Kept asking where this voucher was from and of course my father didnt know as I had given it to him without saying where I got it from. After going off and coming back, still with an attitude the manager then asked if it was from Cansa and my Dads girlfriend remembered that I had been to the breakfast and he stopped the interrogation - not after having made them feel very uncomforable and embarrased, never even apologised for being so rude. Understandably you might not know about the voucher but you don't need to treat customers so badly, it has left a very bad taste in our mouths and based purely on this kind of attitude will not be going back to La Campagnola - with or without a voucher!
