"If you don't like it then leave"

My friends and I were in Romans attempting to have lunch. The TV happened to be on SABC1. Seeing as though we were the only people in the restaurant we asked the waitress to turn up the volume slightly. The waitress returned saying that the restaurant's policy is that they only play Supersport. When we asked to speak to the manager and asked that seeing as though we're the only people there would it be possible to change the channel back to SABC we were told that if we do not like it then we should rather leave.

Seeing that we were the only people there I cannot understand why the channel could not be changed. The programme would have been over within half an hour.
