Brazen Head
Shocking service /incompetence

I was quite excited that a pub close to home was having a regular pub quiz at the Brazenhead and after the first visit I thought I'd let it go, but after last night I can't.
1. First visit:
I asked for a variety of their side veggie options to be put all on one plate - a self made veggie platter as i'm vegetarian. I got a blank look from the waitress Catherine who took everyone else's order. Food comes, nothing for me. I wait. Another waitress comes and tells me the other waitress didn't understand what i wanted so just ignored it.
I asked for rooibos tea - they didn't have any.
2. Second visit went find - i had nachos which were okay.
3. Third visit - asked what side orders were available (crumbed mushrooms, onion rings, side veggies, potato wedges, chips etc.) get told nothing except carrots and beans. I ask if they have the lentil pot pie, says yes. another waitress comes back, sorry we don't have the lentil pie. I ask for nachos then. They don't have any. She asks if i want to look at the menu. I tell her no point there's no stock of anything. Best part, my friend that ordered a chicken basket gets crumbed mushrooms, onion rings ..? Don't contact me i won't be back.
