Outsurance dont pay their claims

Our sales representative in Gauteng went missing this week. We are suspecting a kidnapping or worse a hijacking. At the time she had stock which she had to deliver to clients. After waiting the compulsory 48 hours we were given a case number. We reported the matter to Outsurance an logged a claim on the 28 April 2013. Outsurance advised me today that they will not be paying as the stock was not in transit. What a joke. Every year they increase my premium for the month that I transport stock to the professional beauty show and then bring it down when I return with all the stock. Thank goodness nothing ever happened until now. Please be aware they are quick to lure you in with a R400 offer if they cannot beat any other insurer, but clearly they are not to interested in honoring their commitments. Just for the record We have had this business insurance over 3 years and have not claimed once.
