I am a long good standing customer with FNB, and decided to invest some of my excess funds in a 7 day account. Account was opened and Onicca Maseta (suppose to be my business relationship manager) called immediately once the account was opened to check when she can come through and sign a mandate. Before committing I went onto online banking and added this new account to my profile. I went to the detailed balance to check if the terms, etc are correct. And I noticed that under term of deposit it says 32 days and under current maturity date, it counts a number of 32 days. So I approached, not 1 but 3 FNB business managers Onica, Owen Gouws, and Alfred Phaswane, to ask them what this means. In between the very delayed and useless responses they realised their OVER RATED online system has a problem which they (IPH Support) are working on, so in the interim I asked for a letter on a FNB letterhead stating the account number and confirm full funds will be available within 7 days without any penalties, this was the 19th of April. Up to date I received no responses, or feedback. Onicca and Owen do not answer my calls. This request was resent 23rd and 4th April. DISGUSTING & PATHETIC service.
