ABSA worst bank EVER!

After being retrenched, I made the HUGE mistake of going to ABSA to discuss payments on my bond. The minute ABSA learned that I am currently without an income, they swooped in and handed me over the their legal department. No discussions of "How can we help" or anything! NOOOOO, ABSA gives me the impression to just grab honest people's hard earned property without even feeling guilty. I asked for statements from the day I purchased the property, suspecting foul play, BUT may only get for up to ONE YEAR??? I placed myself under debt-review, but suddenly my property has been handed to legal AND the monthly installment has gone up with over R500. When I asked why there was a sudden increase without informing me, the answer I received was "DO NOT KNOW"! This from ABSA home loans DEPT!!! They are not interested to help, even after I informed them I am currently in negotiation for a new job. It is almost as if they are now speeding up the "grabbing" process before I can get back on track with bond. I know of people that were in trouble for 3 years, but their banks went out of their way to help until they were back on their feet. OTHER banks, of course... NOT ABSA!!!
