I had a few issues regarding my Dial Direct Policy which I was not happy with. Firstly, they were debiting my account for a higher premium than what I was quoted initially and secondly, wanted to hit me with a 37% increase in my premium in the new year! Clearly, I was upset with this and was on the verge of lodging a complaint with Obudsman, cancelling my policy with them and going to the media with this. Within 4 hours of sending them my intentions, I received a call from Ashley Moodley in the retentions department (I think he is from Durban but is working in JHB now ;-)

He clearly knew what he was doing and quickly sorted my problems out and was even able to diagnose what caused the problems (My risk profile was incorrectly changed on the system which caused the premium and the premium increase in the new year to be higher than quoted). Ashley was able to quickly sort the problems out for me. Hopefully, my premium increase in the next year will not 37% or higher otherwise I will have to give Dial Direct and Ashley a call. For others reading this, please check what amounts your insurance companies are debiting your accounts. I picked this up just by coincidence.
