On the 08/02/2013 I sent an eMail to a certain Michelle at ARA Group (Anthony Richards Attorneys), requesting Absa's consideration to my proposal for a better settlement on an Absa Credit Card.
After more than 2 months of waiting for a response from Michelle, I again sent an eMail requesting Absa's consideration to my proposal for a better settlement. This time, Michelle responded within 5 hours, as follows: "Please be advise that a discount / settlement offer is a once off pmt and you only qualify to settle with 30%". My question to Absa is this... Was my proposal ever forwarded to you by ARA Group? May ARA reject my proposal without referring it to Absa for it's consideration? Who at Absa do I discuss this matter with? The collecting agent's manager seems to be suffering from Delusions of Grandeur. I tried to resolve this telephonically but there are some very, very clever people working at your Card Collections. People who a mere mortal such as myself just cannot argue with. Furthermore, my eMail dated 10/04/2013 and sent to [Email Removed] has not met with any response.
