Delayed Payment of Study Loan

I am a student and am attending a rather expensive college so naturally I needed a study loan. I decided to go to Nedbank with this because my parents had been banking with them for quite some time and it seemed to be a really good bank that we never had any problems with. I filled in my application and sent it in, it was approved and i went in to sign my documents. I was told that it would be about two weeks and everything would be finalised and payed in. I was billed and payed the interest amount as agreed for two months without any payment on Nedbanks' behalf. On the 11th of April I was suspended from my varsity and told that I could not attend classes because my account was not paid. I had to phone and explain my predicament before being assured that money would be paid the next morning. I cannot understand why it was necessary for me to be suspended and phone Nedbank upset about my situation for something to be done. I was told that it was not the branch I went to who was at fault but rather head office in Johannesburg.
