Unlawful & Incorrect Negative Status

I'm a young professional that has banked with standard bank from the time I was a student. I have all my accounts with SB. In Jan I applied for a revolving credit account. The application was rejected due to the fact that I have a "negative status" on my profile. This was strange to me because I always pay all my accounts & haven't had any unpaids to date. SB told me that I am a secondary card holder on an unpaid credit card, & that I'm being held accountable for the outstanding money due on the other persons card. I never even heard of this person before and after SB investigated (Ref. 31546977) they informed me that they (SB) made an error and would fix the problem & remove the negative status. It's now April and I still have a negative status on my profile. I've had to drain my 32dy account because of this. If I go to another bank for the Revolving Cred Account, I would only preferential rates if I have my cheque account with them. I am now considering moving all my accounts to FNB. I would like to give SB the opportunity to rectify their mistake and I would also like to know what they are going to offer me as a gesture of good faith in apology for the grief they have caused me.
