Unclaimed benefits not being payed out

Good Day. I am upset because I worked for the Rennies group 7 years ago and not all of my provident fund was paid out. This company called me last year and sent me the documentation to complete to receive my money. NBC has been promising to pay out at the end of January already. They keep telling me the end of the week definetely. Yesterday I heard that I should call them back on Wednesday to hear whats happening. I budgeted on this amount which left me in financial trouble. Is this the kind of insurance company a person would invest in? I need this money urgently!
